"a Little Catmelite"
It is 390 years since Polyxena from Lobkowic donated the Infant Jesus statue to the Carmelite order. Because of the anniversary our community dedicated a Carmelite's habit to the original statue of the Child Jesus. It is symbol of our gratitude for the gift of Incarnation and the vocation to the Carmelite's family.
reconstruction of our convent in Prague will finish
We began with the reconstruction of our convent in January 2017. The reconstruction concerned mainly the attic. We would like to make it available to our guests. We have already built an external staircase there, so that our life of cloister is respected. We also repaired the waterproofing and drainage around the building. We must finish a details like outdoor lights (and so on) and interior works yet. We sincerely thank everyone for any form of support and help. Here is a link with a new pictures.
